I’ve seen this issue before but it seems to be getting worse, Series X for reference. The game seems to be getting stuck showing the low resolution/blurry textures instead of switching to the high res ones even at close distance. Seems to be more relevant in built up/intensive areas and happens on multiple routes. Below are some examples from my first run on the Salzburg route, at Salzburg station. In can view you can see labels and some gauges low res. For example the distant speed drop gauge thing for LZB is a blurry mess. Exterior you can notice things like ground textures, posters are low res for some reason. The train itself as well.
This is a Series X in 4K resolution (screenshots resized so I could upload). Seems to be hit and miss for when it actually happens.
