As we’ve seen recently, dtg have done a couple of loyalty discounts, which made me think that maybe loyal customers should be rewarded even more. My proposal is that
If you buy a dlc, you get 10% off the next dlc to release.
If you buy 3 dlcs in a row, you get 25% off the next dlc to release
If you buy 5 dlcs in a row, you get 50% off the next dlc to release

Geel free to add your thoughts down below and if you think this is a good idea

Probably the discount scheme should be starting from now, so for example if you buy the JT route, which looks like the next dlc, you get a discount on the dlc after that

Personally I would rather see more offers like the Humble Bundle Deal or the recent collection completion for SEHS which got me the 700 plus ROG and RHTT packs for £1.70 less than the standalone RRP of the 700.

I also think the 10% preorder discount should be applied to all items not conditional on owning a previous piece of DLC.

Loyalty to Microsoft and Steam? I’m less loyal as I worship the gods at Sony (despite them not making hifi components any more), so no loyalty discounts for me. Despite owning all the previous DLC for SEHS I did not get the Class 700 DLC for tuppence ha’penny like Steam customers.

At this point I don’t know why DTG don’t just give all the DLC to PC players for free and have us console players pay for it. Am I right?

I like the idea but I'd have it apply to all platforms so people on Xbox will get the same (or similar) discounts to those on PlayStation, Steam and Epic, but a good idea that should be considered :)

If DTG does and I believe they should, this kind of discount should be applied to all, regardless of the system the game is played on. It is we the gamers that keep the game development companies afloat, it would be nice to a little something back.

that doesn't really make sense how can you get DLC's in a row?

By buying a dlc when it comes out, then buying the next dlc comes out, and doing it consecutively and you get all sorts of discounts

The standards of Steam involve sales, so publishing at true (discounted) price can backfire.

When picking up the game, a sweet deal really helps to splurge.
Like how I got TSC with 84% off (Deluxe pack for about 8€). Wasn't any point to overthink.

Afterwards, the main issue with the current system for me is that it promotes playing old content.
Instant buyers bring in some extra revenue, but as it takes years to get to true price, the majority probably holds off fairly long.
As such a flat 50% during all sales could work, maybe holding off for 3 months.
