We are aware that users on PS5 who have purchased Luzern – Sursee are currently experiencing difficulties with getting the add-on to install correctly, and reports of the error code ‘CE107880-4' are showing up.

The team have been investigating this issue and have identified that anyone who purchased the route and attempted the download before 11:30am GMT(roughly) will have received this error message.

If you have received this error code, we believe there may be a 24-hour cooldown before you're able to download the content (this would be consistent with what we saw on Tharandter Rampe for this error code), but it may be less. We recommend you check back every couple of hours, as this cooldown is a Sony-side limitation, it could be automatically or manually triggered. We have raised a ticket with Sony to see if we can expedite this, but we presume this limitation is automatically-applied.

If you have purchased the add-on after this time, you should be able to download and install Luzern – Sursee as intended.

We appreciate this is frustrating, and we can only apologise for the inconvenience to those affected. This was a result of human error and we have identified the cause of the issue and taken steps to ensure it doesn't happen again. We would like to thank the community for your patience and understanding.

    UPDATE: 18:59

We've had an update from Sony as to a potential workaround for those having issues. Please could you try the below and let us know on a thread if you're still having issues.

    • When you highlight the game, press the Option button and go to "Manage Game Content", is the contentID for the DLC on the list and if so, do you see delete option?
      • If so, could you try deleting it?
    • Follow the steps here to restore license
    • Then reboot PS5 console and try downloading again
UPDATE: 19:54 - the update mentioned above appears not to work. We've gone back to Sony, but not sure we'll get any other workarounds before the 24 hour (we believe) cooldown.
