How should the LZB Markers be set up on a route?

I've been trying those from Munich - Augsburg and I notice there are 4 markers to pick

    MA LZB Blocksignal
    MA LZB End
    MA LZB End Fixed
    MA LZB End Now
    MA LZB Start

The Start is obvious and works as expected but what is the difference between End, End Fixed and End Now?

    Thanks

    Peter

    Normally it is

LZB Start --- LZB Block --- LZB Block --- ... --- LZB End

How the other two (non existent in real life imho) are used in the sim, you may find out by analyzing a route.

Spikee, isn't there something like having to acknowledge the imminent end of the Lzb stretch? It was a thing in some manuals, basically just a PgDn to notify Pzb that I'm awake and ready to get back to Pzb mode. (And if I don't, the train stops.)

I was giving it a try by adding LZB to HS1 from St Pancras to Ebbsfleet and I was able to run a EU64U2 and an ICE3 over the line.
It did not work perfectly but it did give indications of speed changes but not having put the correct marker st St Pancras it was creeping in to the platforms

In real life, the LZB computer transmits the data to the loco through the cable in the midle of the tracks, 2 kms before LZB ends you get this notification, making you aware that you now have to obey the signals again.

I think in TSC (as there is no "main" LZB computer transmitting anything), maybe the "LZB End" marker does exactly this and you have to put it 2000 metres before the "LZB End Now/Fixed") marker to simulate this behaviour.

    Only speculating, never tried this.

So it would look like this on your route:

    LZB Start - Block - Block - Block - LZB End - (2000 m) - LZB End Now (/Fixed?)

You need the blocks because a train starting somewhere between Start and End can only be "taken into" the LZB when passing an LZB Block marker. LZB blocks are usually 2500 metres long.

In short: "LZB End" gives you the notification, "LZB End Now" actually quits and changes to PZB mode again.

Thanks - that is very helpful.

I placed the markers on Ebbsfleet to St Pancras and having passed the LZB Start there is no other joining places.
A test with a RSC ICE3M and the LZB came in on passing the marker and worked as expected slowing the train to pass thru the platform loop at Stratford International. The train got stopped by the AWS Magnet just inside the last bit of tunnel at St Pancras.

I second test with the HRQ Taurus and it did not read the TVM markers and the display counted to 0 for each but did not apply the brakes.
It did understand the 80 kmh restriction at Stratford International which was good.
