Last friday, I asked a question about preserved locos not having LZB, all German locos featured in preserved collection (and the DB BR 442 on SKA) have LZB in real life and do not have LZB in the game (in particular the DB BR 182. As well on rapid transit between Bitterfeld and Leipzig and HRR (possibly). Maybe the preserved crew and the people working on SKA can work on that. This may improve capacity on the line.

I would like this feature and I would imagine it would be easy enough to implement

It's now on the roadmap, so I'm satisfied.

They teased more on the roadmap stream, though. (But it was an Adam tease)

Adam's team would work on that

Yes, they completed work on implementing LZB on the 182, and are going to work in the 146 and 185 from MSB.
Those are IMO the most important ones, as they have AFB, and locos without AFB get less use out of LZB. On locos with AFB and LZB the train brakes automatically, without it LZB just tells you what speed you should be going. I do really like this kind of stuff from the preserved collection crew, it will add some nice additional gameplay.

Agreed, The AFB locos should have LZB, they also said that LZB may exist on RT. What I wonder, though, is if you could make the BR 182 on SKA and HMA and go full speed ahead.

Good to hear that they implemet new systems even for older locos. Maybe TrainSim-Adam can make more indepth article about how this works, but I think that ones the working LZB module was created in simugraph for ICE than it can be copied elsewhere. Only loco need to be adjusted to have input/output devices working (signal reader, switches, indicators, and power/brake control...)

When it's loco only, I don't see why the 182 should not be allowed to do the 220km/h. Of course when e.g. the dostos are coupled, it's restricted to 160 as the Dosto are not allowed to go faster.

Max speed for 182 is actually 145 mph 230 km/h. That was actually discussed on an American trains magazine Summer 2012 edition European high-speed trains the Railjet. 220 kmh 135 mph is the max speed for it's American modification which we have in game Northeast Corridor New Rochelle Newark Airport ACS-64
