I’d love to see a route like the München-Mühldorf line. It starts at München Hauptbahnhof and partially shares the same tracks as eastbound S-Bahn lines up to Markt Schwaben, and then runs through several towns on the way to Mühldorf, which is an interesting station because it functions as a hub for several other regional lines. (It also goes through the town where I lived in Germany so I have a particular affinity for this one.)

The line is partly double tracked, and partly single tracked, so this could be an interesting opportunity for some fun with signaling and PZB. I believe there are still some old-style semaphore (Formsignalen) signals on this route too!

The rolling stock is also pretty cool. It’s a non-electrified route so it’s German diesel, which is something that we’re kinda missing in game. The 218 is a pretty common locomotive, and I believe they still sometimes use Silberling commuter cars which are pretty iconic on regional routes.

On top of all that, it travels through the Bavarian countryside, so it’s really pretty! On a clear day with the föhn blowing you can even see the Alps.
