Loco renumbering needs to be more specific in the manuals. Some manuals don't even have renumbering in them. Take the Class 31 for example, want to renumber one in BR Green when creating a scenario, can only get the D to appear, but no numbers. Looked at the manual, no info whatsoever and this is the same with a number of add-ons, no info on renumbering. Won't list the them as that'd take all day.

For the class 31, are you sure you're giving it the correct number? If it has too few or too many digits, then oftentimes the number won't show up. If you can't get the numbers to appear, then try putting in just the number of the loco you want. For example, if you want D5518, then just put in 5518 in the flyout box as the "D" prefix is sometimes physically painted onto the texture of the loco rather than the autonumber slot.

Another way to find out the numbering system is to place a loco on the track somewhere then Double Click on the loco and the pop-out box will show how that loco is numbered - some need an additional letter(s) after the number.
For example the Class 92 needs 4 Letters after the loco number to make different logos and names to appear.
