That is likely going to be impossible, given that the Thomas content has its own physics, which could lead to more derailments than it's worth.
Theres a mod for this, although Thomas and diesel seem to have no kind of braking system to release the brakes.
Already? Wow. Of course there'd be a limitation though, so I guess you'd need a loco at the back equipped with air or vacuum brakes, or both.
Currently I've tried mk1 and mk2 coaches and vacuum and air braked wagons. None of them will move, the brakes are stuck on. Only stock I can pull is unfitted.
