When is this route set? 2024 How Many Stations In Total? 31 Stations! Any Potential Loco DLC’s? Possibly. Though unfortunately the XC license and EMR license is required for two of the locos.. Class 221 XC (Stafford - Manchester Piccadilly) Class 170 EMR (Stoke on Trent - Crewe) Class 158 EMR ([Player Run] Manchester Piccadilly - Stockport) Class 331 Northern (Crewe - Manchester Piccadilly. Class 197 TfW (Manchester Piccadilly - Manchester Airport) Why I decided to suggest this route? I suggested this route mainly because of the branches. Each run mainly lasts between 15-50 minutes depending on which train you drive. There are a lot of traffic too, unfortunately we do not have the XC or EMR licence, so it’ll be quite repetitive seeing the same old locos over and over again but there is a LOT OF services that you can run.. so hopefully it’s not boring. (IF THE TIMETABLE IS DONE PROPERLY) Any Major Stations? Yes! Stoke-on-Trent, Stockport, Crewe, Macclesfield, Stafford, Manchester Piccadilly. Trains Per Hour (TpH): Crewe - Stafford: (Line 1) Class 350: 1tph in each direction. (Line 2) Class 350: 1tph in each direction. Class 390: 2tph in each direction. Manchester Piccadilly - Stoke-on-Trent: Class 323 - 1tph Class 390 - 2tph in each direction Manchester Piccadilly - Crewe: Class 323 - 2tph in each direction Class 390 - 2tph in each direction Route Times: Crewe - Stafford: (Line 1) Class 350 - 25 minutes (Line) Class 350 - 19 minutes Class 390 - 20 minutes Route Times: Manchester Piccadilly - Stoke-on-Trent: Class 323 - 50 minutes Class 390 - 40 minutes Route Times: Manchester Piccadilly - Crewe Class 323 - 55 minutes Class 390 - 36 minutes Pricing: £24.99/32.37$/€29.77
This would be amazing. Especially if these routes were merged. Would definitely make some exciting gameplay.
Oh yeah! Besides Manchester - Crewe, the other runs are pretty short, so why not combine all three? A lot of variety of services to choose from too!!!
Scenarios: Scenario 1 (Class 390): Storming Through Stoke! Weather: Thunderstorm Date & Time: 3rd July 4:36pm Level: Medium A thunderstorm is passing through the North of England. Lightning has struck a tree, which has landed on the fast lines from Stafford to Crewe which has caused massive delays. Carefully drive this 390 on the slow lines to Crewe, but beware of delays when passing through Stoke! Scenario 2 (Class 323): Early Hours at the Piccy! Weather: Clear Skies Date and Time: 1st April 5:30am Level: Easy It’s 5:30am. A coupled 323 has been delivered to you at Manchester Piccadilly, but the driver has disabled all Safety Systems and turned the power off. It's time to get these 323’s up and running! Cold-start the class 323, and uncouple it from its partner. Then take this morning service from Manchester Piccadilly to Stoke-on-Trent, calling at all stations! Scenario 3 (Class 350): Delayed Desiro Weather: Cloudy Date and Time: 13 September 6:23pm Level: Hard Due to signalling issues, your train has arrived at Crewe 25 minutes late. You must arrive back at Stafford at least 10 minutes later than the standard arrival time! Good news, the signalling has been fixed, and you’ve got a clear path in front of you! Drive safe! Scenario 4 (Class 390) Guarding at Christmas! Weather: Snowy, cloudy, visible Date and Time: 25th December 1pm Level: Medium It’s Christmas Day! Santa has left you a present, a class 390 to guard! It’s a lot more busier than usual, so you’ll have to be at your very best at checking tickets and clearing luggages from the path before you arrive at your next station! Merry Christmas!
Could include rolling stock transport for wales 197 Piccadilly - Crewe calls at Stockport Wimslow and Crewe maybe Alderney Edge as I think there’s a limited service here , and cross country voyager Piccadilly - Stoke-On-Trent calls at Stockport Macclesfield and Stoke-On-Trent
It’s possibly to have a 197 as a Loco DLC yes, so i’ll happily add that.. but unfortunately, we don’t have the XC Licence, so a 221 XC is not possible.
They sound good, but DTG needs to sort passenger issues before doing scenario 4 - the prompt would say train busy, but it would be pretty much empty!
Yeah! I completely forgot how God awful the passengers are in TSW5 and i doubt they’ll improve them in the foreseeable future. When I have time, i’ll see if i can change up Scenario 4. (Although still keeping the Christmas theme!!! )
