Do the 323s service any other lines? What services West side to Trafford? Can anyone give me a run down? I see new trains from Blackpool North going to Manchester airport via Piccadilly....
Northern 323's operate services from Manchester to Liverpool and Crewe (there may be a few other locations but I'm not sure). The new trains on Manchester - Blackpool services are the class 331's
The other routes that the northern 323s do include: Manchester Piccadilly to Crewe (via stockport and manchester airport)- This is done alongside 331s Manchester Piccadilly to Stoke-on-trent- Also done by 331s Liverpool Lime Street to Manchester Airport- usually 331s, but the odd 323 the northern 323 services are likely to increase when the 319s go and northern gets the rest of the wmr 323s. And the Blackpool North to Manchester airports are all 331s
Thank you both of you. (one might have been deleted?) Wondering if the Bigmingham to Preston WCML would be built with the Crew line as well? Or would they do it like Glossop? I really enjoy driving the 323s, would love to have some more Manchester stuff. Are the 331s nice as well?
You should go to Japan, you won't want to return to the UK.... ROFL...... The trains there..... you can't better than that.... It's like Lexus or BMW.... on rails.... glorious!!
Not only that but the commuter trains and locals..... you will be surprised. As Japan has very limited for roads, so it is trains. Google Odakyu line and JR Green tokyo line... Look at some videos on youtube. They are the best trains on the planet. They have to be.
