Hi, I love to play in Quick Drive mode because no stress with the timetable and I can stop at whatever station I wish. When using this route with whatever loco/consit (mainly German), and running the whole route to the south direction from Mannheim to Karlsruhe or north Karlsruhe to Mannheim, I get offen an ending game by AI consist collisions or rail switch setup against the player and my train derail. Do you got such problem on this route in Quick drive mode ? If someone got such problems, please share here your feedback because and may be DTG could rework the Quick drive mode for this route if possible. Thank you in advance. Cheers Gerard
Well.. I have tried it with a FLIRT 3, beeing a bit sceptical, starting from Mannheim in the direction of Karlsruhe. Having followed all speedlimits and signal instructions, I drive about 35km out of Mannheim, cruising on a speed of 160km/h giving me a restriction within 2km to 100km/h. All of the sudden my speedlimit is being reduced to 80km/h, while I pass an AI train in the opposite direction and BAM, derailed the whole train with some 150km/h.
GoodLife Thank you for your feedback. Yes most of the time the train derailment occur due to AI consist collision on some place elsewhere or switches set against the player. I will make some more tests even if so many time I have played already in Quick Drive Mode but this time I will made frequently a save (F2 key) to see if I can go from Karlsruhe to Mannheim without getting derailment or some annoying switches setled against the player.
