Around the time HMA was released - Sam was astounded on stream that DTG had released it with no manual.

Sam went away had discussions with people and for a while route and loco releases had manuals again.

However - in recent releases (Diesel Legends, 465, Clinchfield, BR101) there has been no manual. This is disappointing for those of us that like to read up about a train/route and relevant information before driving it. (For instance TSG have highlighted a peculiarity about the 101 and wheelslip in one of the forum threads... this should be in a manual so we know about it).

TLDR - please can we have manuals with releases? it really helps.

This is one area where DTG need to massively up their game. If you can fully replicate a loco and all its systems in the game you can write down what you’ve done and produce a manual. If you can write articles about the routes and trains and write marketing materials you can write a manual. It’s just as important. I just don’t understand why they can’t find a way for all the relevant information to be given to a competent writer to produce a manual in time for launch.

A manual for every release please, available at release.

Absolutely this. Beats me how DTG considers this is acceptable.
