Does anyone think the current Penn Line of the MARC would be a very interesting choice for a future USA passenger route? The devs could make the 40mi section between Washington Union Station - Baltimore Penn Station, or if the devs want to have some challenges, the whole line's 77mi wasn't something totally unreasonable. The route itself has plenty of services to populate the game, with nice scenery and most importantly very interesting locomotives such as the troublesome old Amtrak HHP-8, the future workhorse of American passenger rail Siemens Charger, and the MP36PH-3C that already existed in the game. The route could even work for Amtrak Northeast Regional if the developers wish.
For marc ftg weren't able to obtain a license so until they do, we won't be able to see it. It would still be a nice route with amtrak and other trains running it but having marc would make it soo much better
My dream route is ny to dc with nj transit septa and Marc as well. It’s got licensing issues it’s a tad long for one offering and may be too difficult but it is the USA equivalent of London commuter
