today i am suggesting the Marshlink Line from Eastbourne to Ashford Featuring the Class 171 in Southern Livery. It runs for about 32 miles and it's the third route located in the South Coast of England. The Class 171 travels up to 100 miles per hour. It's a diesel train formed of 2 carriages. Now moving into the timetable. The Route is set in modern day and the timetable is 3tph between Eastbourne and Hastings. 2tph between Eastbourne to Ore. And 3tph between Eastbourne and Ashford. The line was opened in 1867 by the Great Southern Railway. There is only one station with only one single track going to both directions each way later in the day. It also features the Class 377/4 From East Coastway and London Commuter. They will lots of trains running along the route. Like I said this will be the busiest route. This route will be great to see. Tonbridge is also included
Yeah would be cool I suppose, but maybe an extra branch to Tonbridge just to make the route worth it?
All the above sounds great how about though setting it in the 90's Network South East era. Class 411 Hastings - Tonbridge Class 205 Hastings - Ashford Class 421 Eastbourne - Hastings
Agree Thumper era would be best, but problem with this route whenever set, it’s just an hourly bus service in each direction with no real variation. And scenery wise, it’s pretty much flat as a pancake apart from Doleham into Ore.
