Hi Never really bothered with the Mastery stuff before. But I thought I'd check it out on the Cathcart Circle. I went into Mastery and saw I already had Level 1 and the Alien Livery things were unlocked. Tier 2 I had one of the elements (number of routes/scenarios complete). One left. Drive and 70MPH. So went h*ll for leather on a Neilston to Central service. Hit 70 no problem Anyway, finished service and checked my progress. Tier 2 was now now available. Tier 1 is now In Progess with both the Highlander (Complete 2 scenatios/timetables) and Going the distance (rive 30 miles) both ticked. Alien Reqards now locked again. So what is going on? How did I go backwards? And why is Tier 1 locked even though it says I have both done?
I've noticed situations like this too. It seems to me that often the progress shown does not match the selected route. It usually helps that I quit Mastery and reopen it.
On the whole mastery is rather buggered, if it works on a route that is a bonus but expect it not to.
I have only the last White Island trainset that the Mastery does not work past the level 1, I have all of the other trainset Mastery completed (but you can not see most of them )
Refresh it multiple times and it may work. You can check your web Dovetail Live account to double check.

I do have to go back and forth up to three times until the Mastery screen has all progress loaded. Upon completing Tier 2, you must restart the game to have the Mastery appear in the Mastery Rewards unlocker screen, it seems the Entitlement variable is deferred and only updated on exit. Maybe it helps increasing the HTTP timeout value in the Engine.ini... though not really an issue for me. Seems related to the number of players currently connected to DTL.
