Can I suggest you stop putting the 'complete scenarios' objective in tier 2. Most do the scenarios first, meaning we have to repeat them to complete mastery.

agreed. this is the main reason why I can't be bothered to finish the Peak Forest Mastery because Tier 2 asks me to do the difficult scenarios and the royal train one is hard and I 'aint doing it again.

Well, it would be mastered if you managed it a second time, no?

Yeah, but because it took me several attemps to finish it the first time (I kept SPADing), its going to be a while until I do it again.

Royal Train was a right PITA I agree. In reality, the “special train” would receive a clear run barring any unforeseen occurrence and on lines with manual signalling would normally have been double blocked. I ended up plonking the external camera on the buffer beam and driving from that viewpoint, combined with trundling along at 30 MPH which eliminated most of the SPAD traps.

Mastery should also not require you to do stupid things like exceeding the speed limit excessively. Supposed to be a simulation, not a kiddies’ racing game.
