Max Decal Limit On Liveries

Hey there,

Well all I just want to ask if anyone has ever run out of decals or layers? Because I have on one of my livery and it's kind of a bummer for me. I wanted to go reaaly detailed on it but this is keeping me from finishing it. Is there like any way to increase the limit?

 

Depends- are you on PC, or on console? If you are on PC there is a nifty hack that raises the layer limit from 300 to 35,000.

 

Isn't that only with an external editor or is it something else entirely?

 

No, it's a simple .exe developed by trainsimcz; run it and it auto-mods the game file to increase the layer limit. Very easy, no faffing about with an external Unreal editor

 

I'm on PC so it would help a lot. Where can I find this mod tool?

Such a shame that the Microsoft store version doesn't have the TS2Prototype\Binaries\Win64\TS2Prototype-Win64-Shipping.exe directory to enable me to use this mod.

 

Just put it in whatever directory contains ts2prototype.exe

 

Sadly with the MS store version there isn't a ts2prototype.exe file.
Not to worry I can make do with the 300 limit

 

Try TS2Prototype-Win64-Shipping.exe, or whatever else looks like the primary game app file. There has to be one!

 

Nope that's the first one I tried.
I did read somewhere that it's not MS compatible at the moment.
