Steam [resolved] May 30 Update Broke Preston To Carlisle

Have just tried 4 times to load timetable runs from WCML Preston to Carlisle with 3 different Class 87 services and even a Class 31 and each time got a CTD. This has only happened since the update. What’s the old adage “fix one thing and break something else”?
Incidentally I ran a scenario this morning and that was fine, also the TT on the 2019 mod is working, at least the one I tried with a Trans Pennine 350/1. Have any of you encountered problems since the update?

 

I’ve not put any mods in since the update. Before May 30 this route ran fine with mods so I don’t believe it’s connected with mods.
But I will try taking out the 2019 mod for this route.

 

No problems loading timetable runs here, either on the original TT or the 2019 mod. I don't think the update changed anything on this route or its associated layers, but I may be wrong.

I have all 32 layers enabled, with GodMode running and all settings set to Ultra + the Ultra version of the Lighting & Graphic Enhancement pack. Current mods I have enabled for this route:

How weird, I uninstalled 2019 mod and I still can’t run any services on this route, CTD to desktop every time. I reinstalled the dlc to no avail. It’s a bit of a coincidence this problem has only arisen since the update.
DTG can you help?

 

UPDATE

It is DTG’s fault not mine. The error report is stating the game cannot find a file purely relating to the Class 86. This loco was a separate dlc and should NOT be required to play this route.
This MUST have occurred because of the recent update because it was fine before.

 

I can't reproduce the CTD, neither with Class 86 installed nor uninstalled. So it definitely can't be due to the update,
otherwise, the forum would be completely flooded with reports. It's probably just a mod that is no longer compatible.

I recommend disabling all mods, verify your gamefiles, and trying again without any mods at all.

Then re-enable them one by one to identify the faulty mod. Sometimes it’s not enough to simply disable the route / loco relevant mods. It has happened several times that a mod intended for route / loco XY has caused crashes that were actually meant for route / loco YZ.

TSW has often been messed up by mods in such a way that the only solution was to reinstall the entire game,
however, I would consider this step only as the very last option.

Thanks. I’m going for a full reinstall overnight as I can’t seem to fix it and I’m not prepared to lose the original Preston 2 Carlisle, I’ve even got a model of the Class87!

 

Absolutely no problems using Preston-Carlisle recently, and completed a fair few services.

 

Update: I carefully reinstalled so as not to lose my progress and all is back to normal now. I’ve an inkling which mod caused it and shall be avoiding it in the future.
