Steam [mbta Commuter Boston-worcester] Ctc5 Introduction Doesn't Yield Medal, Only A Checkmark

Hi all,
I just installed this route, it's as if the game is unable to register my success in the 'CTC5 Introduction' mission in Guided Experience mode.
All five missions in this first Chapter of Guided Experience already had check marks initially (I presume from having played Boston Runner). The first three missions (F40PH-3C, CTC-3 and HSP6 Introduction) gave me silver medals after I completed them again, as expected. Only this one will not budge.
Is this a known bug?

Edit: the 5th mission of this chapter yielded me a platinum medal, after which this chapter now appears in the "completed to gold" state, despite the missing medal which I always thought was a requisite. Adding a couple of screen grabs to make this more explicit.
