The MBTA CTC-3 / CTC-5 Cab Announcements are non-authentic custom-made station announcements for the MBTA Commuter: Boston - Framingham/Worcester Line Route Add-On. Primary use of these announcements is for eastbound services to Boston South Station while operating the CTC-3 or CTC-5 in driver mode, and westbound services to Worcester or Framingham while operating in conductor mode since announcements would not be heard while operating the HSP46 or F40PH-3C diesel locomotives. This mod is posted on the Train Sim Community site and requires a hotkey announcement player such as Metro Speak or Soundpad.
