I have run a number of MBTA service in Boston Sprinter Boston to Providence and due to the way the timetable is setup, you can't get better than Bronze. I have looked at the actual MBTA timetable and trains are carded at 1:13 for the run while in TSW3 it is 1:07 which is 6 minutes shorter than real life. So by the end of the run, you are leaving stations later than when you should be at the next one. Please redo this timetable.

Well, did get a gold on a morning commute, east bound, limited stop run from Providence. It ran non stop from Mansfield to Back Bay, but even with that I was 4 minutes late into South Station. Do I think DTG will address this, no, but it is frustrating to do the best you can with this F40 and not close to time, especially on stoppers.

I think Brandon said somewhere that when he handed the route over to DTG, they changed the speeds, probably to make the trains run faster.

However the signaling, which is correct and the safety systems are, I think, somewhat at odds with these speeds. In other words, the timetable is out of whack.

The upshot is that the timetable is impossible to keep up with in most instances.

I almost never arrive at Boston South or Providence on time. I'm already fatally late pulling in to Rt 128 or at South Attleboro.

Nevertheless, I've gotten a fair number of " golds " , even when I'm significantly late.

    Go figure.

( As an aside, on Trenton I was a full 14 minutes late into NYP driving a NJT cab car train, because of slow orders etc., yet still got a gold!! There's not a lot of predictability or consistency in the scoring feature. Not that I care about medals much, but I do like to drive as " professionally " as I can. )

Correct Crosstie, as I noted above, the difference is 6 minutes between what the actual timetable give for a full run and DTGs. I just ran MBTA service 809 Boston - Providence and arrived at Providence 7 minutes late which gave me a silver. Well if the in game timetable was correct, then I would have been 1 minute late. I might add, that 1 minute was probably due to something I did coming out of Sharon, so could say was on time into Providence.
