Fed up with TSW4 killing Windows ( killing XBox emulator, sure ... but the OS ?!? ) i returned to TSW3 ( remember, my profile still not imported ) i bought Clichfield DLC full price + GST. And oh the flaws ! Gawd. Yes, it is Preserved Content ( TSW2 ), but why not patch the obvious ?!? Was it not made by DTG ? Then tell authors to patch before they can add nought else ! Either way, still full price ? This was purchased across the net here in Canada where we value fair play even without having gone to Eton and the Oxbridge. Pretty shameless. And no, i did not buy Sand Patch as i bought CSX Heavy Haul for this PC, so why would i pay full price AGAIN ?!? Besides, it was so cheap in a PS4 bundle ... So i have it twice over, but still no credit or discount. Very shameless. robert Canada retired from dev on the raw edge
Absolutely! East Coastway- what a delight! Little gripes here and there like no sound of wheels over rail joints or points (edit- resolved), but once the inevitable ini adjustments are applied, it's a lovely little route that's easy to learn, has a terminus, rural beauty, freight, pax, and is just a nice place to be. With reshade it really brings out the fluffy nature of South British countryside.
Preserved content is basically abandonware at this point, and that includes everything released for TSW3. Did you really expect them to reduce the price of something they've left to rot?
I did finally get TSW4 (for ECML only as I'm not interested in another desert run or in yet another German route) - but after moving my DLC over and experiencing some of the bugs I went back to TSW3 for most Routes. Now I am very slowly introducing each of the DLC back onto TSW4 to see which ones work without new bugs. As a positive note it's good to have this option to play a Route wherever it works most optimally, even if it's TSW2.
