After looking on the Koln Aachen Timetable mode I realised that there wasn’t any medals next to any of the services. I’m not sure if it’s something they will add when the S - Bahn and Freight services come in, but it would have been nice to have medals seeing as we have Journeys.
It seems that the medals are missing on all versions of the game. I have summited a ticket to the support team. Hopefully it Will be patched .
