    Good morning folks,

We’re aware of reports of crashes on the Medway Valley Line, which are very likely caused by outdated mods or .ini changes.

JetWash has provided a solution in the following posts:
To help identify and resolve the problem, please try the following:
    • First, remove or disable your engine.ini edits entirely and test the route. This is to confirm whether your .ini is the cause.
    • If the crashes stop, reintroduce only safe settings. Avoid any commands related to lighting (including clouds and sky), memory streaming, or garbage collection, as these are the most likely to cause instability.
    • If you are using GodMode tweaks, limit them to the known safe commands only and avoid adding anything else.
    • Remove any mods affecting SEHS rolling stock until they have been updated, as these can conflict with the upgraded content.
    • Avoid using “all-in-one” or generic ini files, as these often contain conflicting or unsuitable settings for specific routes.
You can still use .ini tweaks, but they need to be applied carefully. One global configuration for the entire game is likely to cause problems, especially if you are unsure what individual commands do.

Finally, please make sure to read the Medway Valley Line manual, which can help solve any other issues you might run into.

We will continue to investigate this issue with the Firefly team and inform you of any changes.

    All the best,
    Jan
