Having used tsw for a good few months now, I really think there is a need for a route with fewer point to point operations....
Now, within the route lengths could it be possible to have a route that contains a TMD a colliery and a power station that runs all around the clock. My uncle knew someone who worked at shirebrook TMD so I got a tour once (around 1987) and it was just so different to other railfreight operations. Very cool 56's and 58's. And the operations actually happen within a feasible size for tsw.
The only draw backs would be freight only, and being able to model from archive imagery....

Knottingley TMD, Eggborough PS, Drax PS and Ferrybridge PS would be awesome.

Quite a short route as well but tons of action.

I've been thinking along similar lines for a while but a bit further south. I'm going to say no more as I may well build it when we get the editor.

But if it's extended through to Goole - Leeds, plus the branch to Wakefield, that's ~ 40 miles
