This route would be similar to ECW with the mainline to southport but with a little branch off to kirkby
The Main line Between Hunts Cross and southport would be an aprox length of 21 miles with the branch line to kirkby being 6 miles i believe this route should be set july 2019 before covid and this route feels better suited within summer i have suggested the branch line because it would give users 2 different experiences the quiet commuter town of kirkby to the packed Lpool CTRL and the Hunts X to southport summer destination line this route would feature one depot located just out of liverpool and the trains included could be the class 508/507 the pair have minor differences. The service pattern is every 15mins across merseyrail this is my dream route and i really hope it comes to TSW
Here are a few scenario suggestions

Football Express - Its Derby Day at anfield and you have the challenge of transporting football fans between liverpool central and sandhills you also need to head to kirkby to run an express service calling at Sandhills And Lpool CTRL [60 min]

Line Changeover - There has been a train failure on the Kirkby Line and a train has had to be taken to the depot you are at moorfields and need to bring the train into CENTRAL station switch ends and take the service to kirkby to replace the broken down train [30 MINS]

To The Rescue! - A Train is stuck at liverpool central your at the depot and need to bring this broken down service to the maintenace yard for repairs head to central couple to the broken down train and bring it back.

Why not the Ormskirk branch line as well as the Southport mainline and Kirkby Branch cause it make it makes the whole Northern Line

I agree with this. The length of the route is such that the Ormskirk branch can easily be added too and still be TSW length. Although it’s a long time since I travelled on Merseyrail, the Northern line is the bit I’m most familiar with. I’ve always loved the trains and they look great in the funky modern livery. I think it would make a great route DLC.

I really like the idea of the Northern Line, brings back memories of pre Covid times when I could travel down the west coast mainline, hop on a northern service into lime Street, in a hotel overnight, and on the Northern Line to Sandhills for Goodison.

Also it just occurred to me that both the 507/508 have a base to work off (313) so it would mostly be the route to work on. I 100% would buy this.

I would like to see the Wirral and Northern Lines along with the 507/508 and 777. The Merseyrail lines are relatively self contained, so having the whole network in one service, even if it meant a higher price would be superb. I’m sort of tired of only getting bits of networks etc, so with the whole of Merseyrail technically possible (subject to licensing) I would really want it all.
