The Merseyrail Northern line is a cross-cityrailway running from Hunts Cross in south Liverpool then (by way of an underground section through Liverpool's city centre) to termini in the north at Southport (Merseyside), Ormskirk (Lancashire) and Kirkby(Merseyside). It and the Wirral Line are commuter rail services operated by Merseyrail, serving Merseyside. A third line, the City Line, is not owned or operated by Merseyrail, although stations inside Merseytravel's area are branded as Merseyrail. All three lines are funded by Merseytravel. There is 33 stations on the whole northern line The locos I would like to see would be 507 At Lime Street Station 2019 507002 508 777 (with interior) I hope dovetail can make this happen hopefully in December 2021 please add this onto roadmap As this is a route I think we all would love to see! I like the suggestion, very much so, however... I recommend not using the "I think we'd all like to see it" tactic. It doesn't tend to go down well. And generally it just goes to pot when someone who doesn't agree shows up. Just a heads up.
December you’re so optimistic it won’t be the case but anyway if a Merseyrail line has to come to TSW it’ll be with the 777 first as we already have the 507 cousin which is the 314 and soon the 313 so later the 507 and 508 as a DLC
I think it would be the other way round, with the 507 & 508 being made because of that very reason. Which if you ask me is for the better.
I would to see it. Someone was making it for TS1 with a class 507 but it never appeared. However, personally I would be happy to stick with the class 507/508, that class 777 thing is ugly!
Excellent idea but the way that DTG will make class 507/508 is taking the Cathcart Circle Class 314 or ECW Class 313 as the base model to make class 507/508. If TSW needs a BEMU like TS 21 class 419 then Class 777 can solve that
