    INTRODUCTION
Today i'll be suggesting the Wirral Line operated by Merseyrail (owned by Merseytravel and Network Rail) this route would be 1 hour and 38 minutes long with 33 miles of track (54.0 km) serving 34 stations in total

    THE ROUTE

The route is 33 miles long (54.0 km) and calls at 34 stations in total the operating speed is 70 mph (110 km/h) maximum.

The class 777/0 manufactured by Stadler Rail as part of the METRO family built from 2018-2023 with 53 units built 46 of those trains being /0s and 7 being /1s the top speed of this train is 75 mph (120 km/h) and the safety systems used are TPWS/AWS and ETCS.

    DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE CLASS 508/1 & 507/0

    507s have one compressor
    508s have two compressors

    507s can handle 650V-750V
    508s can handle 750V-850V

    507s built as a 3-car
508s originally built as a 4-car later reduced to a 3-car when sent north

The class 508s lights cant handle third rail gaps and will flicker off

The 508s had internal passenger door controls on both sides of each door sets which were blanked off with yellow panels when they transferred to Liverpool the 508s and 507s were later fitted with gaurd controls at each door set in 1999. The 507s received a completely new box and the 508s had their left side panel modified into a guard control box with the right side staying blanked over until 2002-2005 when it later got removed.

Definitely a top contender for another modern UK route. TSW's timetable mode is best suited to metro-style routes in my opinion, and the operation of running through a loop line under the city centre before heading back out to one of the four branches without needing to switch cabs would make for appealing gameplay. It's also unique being the only surviving 750V DC 3rd rail system outside the south east!

Also since DTG added Blackpool to Omskirk you may as well add that branch in.

Good idea however there is a slight problem with it; the Ormskirk branch of Merseyrail is on the Northern Line and not the Wirral Line, here are some route maps to help you distinguish between the two lines which Merseyrail operate on ;)

Wirral Line: (which is being suggested)

Great suggestion, would be nice to have another 3rd rail line in the game thats up north now ;).
As a little note for the services you listed, all of them are Chester to Chester etc, this is because they all go up the line and through the loop under Liverpool centre and then back to the station it began at. And every service is 4tph except ellesmere port-ellesmere port which is 2tph
