Bags of potential here with upto three driveable routes at once. Starting at either Chester, New Brighton or West Kirkby you can drive trains at a mix of either four trains an hour from West Kirkby and New Brighton or the half hourly services from Chester. All routes start at the three stations mentioned and run into Liverpool via Birkenhead and under the River Mersey where they go around the underground loop section before heading back to where they departed with full runs taking anything from just short of an hour to over an hour and a half. Along with running regular passenger services you could have express trains to Hoylake for The Open, raceday specials to Chester and even diesel rescues to pick up the odd broken down train.
West Kirby is a nice place, especially Hilbre Island. I would like to see specifics like the time period, a run down on rolling stock and any extra service types. Plus consider Ellesmere Port if we're talking Wirral branch lines, it's already on the Chester line.
507033 at New Brighton on Liverpool Service 508137 at Ellesmere Port on a Liverpool Central Service Old and New at West Kirby Just been on the line today from Liverpool to Chester and it definitely as potential. So Yes it definitely gets my vote I love the class 507 and 508's I will miss them when they go . I suppose you could have a class 37 dragging the old units to Newport or dragging the new units to Merseyside Good luck with this and I hope we get this added ASAP, its something I would definitely buy
