    About

he Milwaukee District North Line (MD-N) is a Metra commuter rail line in Chicago, Illinois and its northern suburbs, running from Union Station to Fox Lake. Although Metra does not refer to any of its lines by color, the timetable accents for the Milwaukee District North line are pale "Hiawatha Orange" in honor of the Milwaukee Road's Hiawatha passenger trains. The line is 49.7 miles (80.0 km) in length. Freight is handled by CPKC.

Hasn’t Metra previously been ruled out as they will not give DTG licence or access?

Not sure i thought it was reliant on a bnsf licence but that was before dtg had a bnsf licence

DTG never lost the BNSF license, it was an issue where it was only allow in the US over on TSC. Where DTG on the contrary never had the Metra License to begin with.

Hopefully Metra will become open minded to DTG at some point but we will wait and see. Here’s hoping it’s possible, Chicago needs to be included in TSW.
