The UPN line works perfectly for route length because it is around 35 miles and is mostly commuter. Engines include mainly the F40. Bilevel cars are the main rolling stock, however it is possible to include grain/pellet cars, tank cars, and coal cars. The route goes from Ogilvie Transportation Center to Waukegan Metra Station. While the route continues to Kenosha, Wisconsin, most trains only go to Waukegan. The route also includes a very small amount of freight traffic that enters just after Lake Bluff, where unit coal trains go to serve a power plant and a local serves a chemical plant. Interesting mechanics include flip back services
The only issue would be DTG getting a license from Metra. Aside from that, it sounds like a great idea. I'd love to see it!
ok since I live in Wheaton, I would love to see Metra in TSW. But I think hey should re-create the BNSF line in TSW. But if they did any Metra lines, I would be so happy.
