With the New Haven line coming in TSW6 and including a remastered Harlem Line south of Woodlawn junction for the access to GCT, I was thinking that at maybe some point in a few years, we could get a "MNR Commuter" If Dovetail ever decides to remaster the remainder of the Harlem Line from TSW2 (Wakefield to North White Plains). Frankly I was surprised that when the New Haven line was revealed and they said they were redoing the Harlem Line to GCT that they wouldn't just redo the entire Harlem Line to NWP as well to sell the routes together akin to what they did for LIRR Commuter. I would hope that at least they would allow the station route hopping feature in both routes at GCT, Harlem-125th and Fordham as the two lines share those stops. I have a few ideas of this hypothetical combined Commuter Route: - A combo of the upcoming TW6 New Haven route + a remaster of the TSW2 Harlem Line route to NWP. - The creation of a Hudson Line Route to Tarrytown or Croton-Harmon + Remastered Harlem Line to NWP or extension to Southeast. - Harlem Line to Southeast + New Haven Line to New Haven. - Remastered Harlem Line + New Haven extension to include New Cannan & Danbury Branches. - Harlem Remaster to NWP + TW6 New Haven to Stamford + Hudson Line to Tarrytown. - Harlem Line to NWP Remaster + New Haven Penn Station Access update that adds M8s traveling to Penn Station + adds the planned stations in the Bronx. The new locomotive(s) for this Route could be the P32AC-DM and/or the SC-42DM Charger (the latter of which just had its first revenue service this week).
