Metro North M7a - Hudson Line

Is it just me that finds the Power/Brake on this train totally frustrating, trying to get it to coast is nigh on impossible, in fact I seem to spend so much time watching the HUD I can't say I've actually seen anything of the route.
Does anyone know of a fix or enhancement to add to it that improves it?

 

Might help adding a "dead zone". M7 TrainBrakeControl is set to

0 : Release
0.01 : Direct
0.91 : Emergency

Try changing the "Direct" value from 0.01 to 0.1 to have the zone between 0 and -10% release the brakes.

Or swap it for LIRR's M7.

I don't yet have the LIRR.

 

LIRR's M7 is far superior to HudsonLine's.

 

It (and so many other things) is on my wishlist
