Hello everyone, today I would like to suggest another interesting Parisian metro line like line 13 but more touristy and harmonious. I suggest line 6 of the Parisian metro connecting Nation to Charles de Gaulle Étoile Line 6 of the Paris metro is one of the sixteen lines of the Paris metropolitan network. It follows a semi-circular route south of the city on the old outer boulevards, between Charles de Gaulle - Étoile stations in the west and Nation in the east. 13.6 kilometers long, of which 6.1 kilometers by air, or 45% of its route, and equipped with equipment on tires since 1974, this line allows you to see many views of several major monuments and landscapes of the capital. The total length of line 6 is 13.665 kilometers, of which 6.1 km are overhead (four sections). This makes line 6 the most aerial of the Paris metro lines with 45% of its route outside and thirteen stations in the open out of a total of twenty-eight. It crosses the Seine twice and, each time, by viaduct. Line 6 forms, with line 2 to the north, a loop in Paris located mainly at the site of the old wall of the Fermiers Général. The only connections it makes with line 2 are at its two terminals (Étoile and Nation). The line begins at Charles de Gaulle - Étoile, under the place of the same name, with a loop to the north of which the station is located, with a single track flanked by two platforms, one for the descent of travelers and one for the ascent. Operation: The complete route of the line takes 33 minutes. As on all the main lines of the Paris metro, the first departure takes place from the head end at 5:30 am. However, in the east-west direction, a first circulation takes place from Place d'Italie at 5 am 30 which precedes the first train from Nation by 10 minutes. The last departure takes place from Charles de Gaulle - Étoile at 12:41 a.m. and from Nation at 12:42 a.m. It is set at 1:42 a.m. and 1:44 a.m. respectively on the nights from Fridays to Saturdays, from Saturdays to Sundays and on the eve. of feast on feast days. the driver's terminal is not located at Charles de Gaulle star but at the next station in Kléber and the other terminus for the driver's is Nation. The average interval between trains is 2 to 4 minutes during the day, 6 to 8 minutes in the extreme evening, 4 to 6 minutes on Sunday during the day and ten minutes on nights from Fridays to Saturdays, Saturdays to Sundays and eve of public holidays after 12:30 a.m. (after 1:15 a.m. on Friday nights to Saturdays) Rolling stock : In 1974, the line was fitted with MP 73 wheeled subways. The MP 73 (Metro Pneu invitation to tender 1973) is a rolling stock on tires of the Paris metro. It mainly equips line 6. Forty-five MP 73 trains run on line 6 and are composed of 5 cars M-N-A-B-M. - M: motor with driver's compartment - N: car trailer - A: motor with no drivers compartment - B: car trailer - M: motor with driver's compartment MP73 Cab: 1: Manipulator 2: Speed indicator 3: 3 Button: -(green) door closing without vibrator -(red) door opening preparation -(yellow) Door closing with vibrator 4: THF: High Frequency Telephone with the regulator (PCC(centralized control station)) 5: Key T ( in order to control the direction of the right-left or mixed doors). Tourism: Line 6 is one of the most popular lines for tourists and Parisians, thanks to its location mostly on a viaduct. It offers unique points of view on several monuments. From the Bir-Hakeim bridge, we can see the Eiffel Tower dominating the Seine, the Palais de Chaillot, the bell tower of the Saint-Augustin church, the top of the glass roof of the Grand Palais, the Montparnasse tower, the dome of the Invalides and the Butte Montmartre on the horizon on one side, on the other the house of Radio France, the Île aux Cygnes and the Beaugrenelle district. Before the Cambronne station, you can see the Invalides for a few seconds, before finding them near the Sèvres-Lecourbe station, where you can see the perspective of the avenue de Breteuil on the Invalides before plunging back underground. To the east, during the aerial route, we can see the Ministry of Finance and the Paris-Bercy sports hall as well as the François-Mitterrand library and, in the distance, the chevet of Notre-Dame cathedral. The line serves monuments and tourist areas mainly in its western section. Beyond the Montparnasse - Bienvenüe station, its essential vocation is to link together the most lively points in the south of the capital. We can quote from west to east: -Place Charles-de-Gaulle and the Arc de triomphe de l'Étoile; the Esplanade du Trocadéro; -the Eiffel Tower and the Champ-de-Mars; -the Montparnasse tower, the shopping center and the district of the same name; -Place Denfert-Rochereau where you can visit the catacombs of Paris; -the headquarters of the editorial staff of Le Monde (boulevard Auguste-Blanqui); -Place d'Italie and the Butte-aux-Cailles district; -the Ministry of Finance, Bercy Arena and the Bercy park; -the place of the Nation. Security elements for rolling stock: The Paris metro has several security features such as railway signaling but let's talk about the security features for the train. Each metro line in Paris has KPV (Spot Speed Control) to ensure that the driver does not exceed the imposed speeds. If necessary, when crossing the KPV, the train stops automatically as a safety measure. The VACMA system also, whether using the pedal or the ring on the manipulator, the driver must use the VACMA regularly otherwise if necessary after 6 seconds a bell sounds and if after 5 seconds the driver did not react by pressing the pedal where the watch ring, the train suddenly stops with the sounding of an audible alarm. Do not hesitate to comment and like if this suggestion suits you. Thanks for taking the time to read
I´m very happy that you have also made a presentation for this line and for the MP73 model, that it is one of my favorites. There is a variant of this model (the NS74) in the capital of another country: Santiago de Chile. NS74 It would be a very good option to add this Parisian line, because in a more distant future, they would have the option of being able to add the line from this country and reuse the same model of the tracks and rubber wheels. There is also the NS93 model, which comes from the Parisian MP89, which is still used on various lines of the Parisian metro network. MP89 NS93
Thank you very much for this positive feedback. I often take line 6 and find that this line would even be the best choice in the Paris metro. The mp73 I like this rolling stock even though I personally prefer the mf77 . But this line would be a very good suggestion with the tourist places it frequents.

Here are some videos showing you the announcements in the Paris metro. Last train, pickpockets, preventive measures for travelers etc. Good viewing.
Unfortunately I still can't see the videos you uploaded. I use Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge and it doesn't show me. Your publication appears completely blank. Take this opportunity to leave a YouTube video that shows some shots of all the airlines of the Paris metro: https://youtu.be/zby783SBeEI
I offer you some freight rolling stock for line 6 and others Lines. TMA and TME. The TMA (Autonomous Walking Tractor) is a RATP works rolling stock for the Paris metro. The autonomous walking tractor (TMA) is a rolling stock of works of the Paris metro dating from 1985 of which 14 examples are built. It is used for track renewal works, carried out at night on lines where the traction rail is de-energized. For this purpose, it is equipped with batteries. The electric walking tractor (TME) is a work equipment of the Paris metro. These equipments are of BB configuration, equipped with two three-phase asynchronous motors of 220 kW, supplied with 400 volts three-phase by a power electronics type IGBT. They can be coupled in multiple units with their cousins, the self-propelled tractors (TMA) Technical support: Power supply: 750 volts direct by third rail Spacing: 1,435 mm Wheel diameter: 950 mm Maximum speed: 45 km / h Total mass: 55 t Locomotive / train mass: 60⁄180 t Traction: two three-phase forced-ventilated motors Asynchronous motorization Electric power: 220 kW . They are attached to the Porte de la Villette workshops and start from line to line during the day and night after the end of commercial service. They are generally placed in secondary tracks which are not used in passenger operation.
I put a recording of the sound that is heard inside the MP73 model, when it leaves a station, the noise of opening and closing the doors ... Because I consider that in the external recordings that we have left in previous posts, we are listen clearly enough.
I found a video that shows the exact route taken by the metro line 6, from the driver's cabin perspective. Of course, it is past a fast camera, so the details cannot be appreciated so much, but it does allow us to get an idea of what it would look like if we had this route in the game. In addition, in the lower right corner of the video the stations through which the convoy passes are named:
Yes I know this video. Thank you for this information, I had not put it because of the speed of the video and if it did too much for them like line 13 and RER A and B. But that another person takes care of it. a good thing. Thanks for your cooperation it's a very good video
