I’m running the Metropolitan Line using an S7 + 1 train and am having a problem in that it refuses to go above 10.8 mph. I first tried it from Aldgate and thought maybe it was to do with the signalling system in the tunnels but it is the same if I start from Chesham. I have printed out and followed the driver’s guide but can’t for the life of me see what I am doing wrong. Can anyone help please?

PS. I have no trouble running other trains on the Met (although strangely the district line trains are shown as incompatible). I even got a Class 43 up to 130mph from Chesham before it spectacularly came off the rails just after Rickmansworth! Made for a good screen shot.

Is there a "forward 1" and "forward 2" on that one?

You are possibly driving in Restricted Mode.
The tripcock probably needs to be reset.

Cheers Peter. That seems to do the trick. Not sure what happened but I have just tried again and got up to speed with no probs.

It’s certainly a challenge to drive these trains.

To me its the most realistic route in terms of operation! Very Challenging!

You really need to read the manual, I went though the same issues and emailed JT and their response was read the manual lol
