Ok, since the 787 seems to have been updated, I can’t seem to find how to change what displays In the compass at the top left corner of the screen from a VOR1 ‘Green Line’ to the magenta/pink line for navigation/flying/autopilot stuff. Anyone know how to switch it ? I’ve tried searching for it online and ain’t getting anywhere, I was just praising this plane yesterday for being simplistic then incomes an update and I’m stuck on the ground edit: turns out I may be looking for what’s known as a “CDI” button, anyone know where that could be in this plane ? I noticed I’m having the same issue with the 747 aswell but another plane loaded up with the magenta line (GPS).
Microsoft's guidance is awful on some of the advanced aircraft - it took me a few goes to get used to the ATR... I'm not sure on modern Boeings, I normally user either the ATR or the Flybywire A320 and don't have the 787 on Gamepass - I assume there is an option to set the FMC as the guidance source
i’m not sure if something with the ui would be found in the plane, but what i can say is keep going and keep watching tutorials, everyone learns at a different pace, when i first started with the 747 i used to hate it bc it was too simple and boring ever since aau2 came out i watched one tutorial and now i know the plane off the back of my head but i think you should check in Assistance Settings and into Piloting it might help you :P
appreciate the help, I’ve looked into the issue more above on the internet and it appears to be a bug since they both got updated, my main problem should resolve if the bug does.
i know what you’re talking about now i just turned on my hud and now i see what you mean, although it doesn’t do anything it should be fixed in su13 or 14
