I recently purchased TSW3 via the Microsoft store. To my dismay I think I made the wrong choice in purchasing from MS. It seems that MS doesn't have any add-ons, i.e loco's and routes. My question is.. If I purchase loco add-ons (dlc's) from Steam, will I be able to use them with my MS download version of the game? T.i.a
The Microsoft store has all the same add ons as everywhere else. Unfortunately you cannot purchase Steam DLC and use it in the Microsoft version. How are you looking for DLC? For me I go into the XBOX app on the PC, click on TSW3 then it shows the available add ons. On the right, there is a show all button. When I click that, I can see every DLC ever released. If you don’t have the Xbox app then you can download that from the Microsoft Store, then install TSW3 from there.
Different platforms so dlcs from one platform can't be used in another. Steam, epic and microsoft are all different platforms. So you will have to repurchase on steam if you plan to of course
