OK, so I know it's not a normal suggestion because it doesn't include the London terminus, but understanding that it's less likely because the 700... (just because) I thought I'd include something which may be possible... East Midlands Railway runs the MML north of the Thameslink terminus at Bedford and with the recent shutting down of Class 43 (HST) services this leaves just two main passenger trains on the route, alongside a heck of a lot of freight... Class 222 - Meridian The class 222 is a diesel MU capable of operating at 125MPH, and that speed is allowed on this section of the MML. The units were built between 2003 and 2005 by Bombardier in Belgium, with 4, 5 & 7 car sets running on the line (but for the sake of this I would suggest restricting to 5 car sets as DTG only like to do one set type...) The 222s do the EMR Intercity routes which mainly bypass intermediate stations, but on this route the stopping pattern would include: Leicester - Market Harborough - Kettering - Bedford Leicester fast through to Bedford (ending at speed) Also included would be the 7 mile branch to Corby, where EMR have recently introduced their EMR Connect service using the Class 360s, formerly of the Anglian Region The class 360 were built between 2002 and 2005 by Siemens Transportation Systems in Germany and are capable of 110mph running. These services operate the "stopping services" between St Pancras and Corby (with some extending to Melton Mowbray, which is a few miles further north) Service patterns for the class 360: Corby - Kettering - Wellingborough - Bedford Freight There are over FIFTY freight movements per weekday on this line, with sidings just South of Kettering, North of Leicester, a GBRF yard at Wellingborough and many more. Depots The class 360s are maintained by Siemens at Bedford Cauldwell Depot, just South of Bedford station, and accessible by a shunt maneuver from the station Movements per hour: With at least 5 passenger movements per hour from Leicester, and 4 to and from Corby this isn't the most overloaded line passenger wise, but the amount of freight more than makes up for this! The cab ride below is from Nottigham to London, but the section I'm suggesting is included in full (Leicester is at 24:25, Bedford is at 1:01:00)
The easy part is the freight locomotive because you have a returning train simulator 21 operator Gbrf. Class 66 gets a reskin into Gbrf
TSC license doesn't mean they can use the paint scheme in TSW2, so DTG would need to get the licensing sorted
So it means renegotiating the license to use Gbrf on both TSW 2 & Train Sim 21. Even Class 222 is a classic train in Train Sim 21 that must be in TSW2. For third-party developers, this should be given to Just Trains who made Sheffield-Leicester section via Derby & Nottingham in Train Sim 21. The southern segment is a DTG made route the MML St Pancras-Bedford in TS21.
Just TSW2, they already have a license for TSC I don't care who develops it, but given JT aren't devving for TSW2 that I know of... Would leave DTG Unfortunately that means Thameslink, and the 700 license hasn't been got for either TSC or TSW so I'm presuming there's a reason why
