Seen in a discord apparently the MML Achievements are up so hopefully not that long to go?
As the achievements have already been listed, I would think the release is imminent
MML: Running Start
MML: Marathon Champion
MML: Athletic Abilities
I cannot wait for it
So far, and I don't see it changing, I've only played uk routes so can't wait for this, not done any steam yet so may go for that if nothing else for the uk is imminent
How long is it normally from achievements to release or pre release advertising?
after todays update, we know, that the HST from MML will add AI-layer to SEHX (St Pancras).
Preston to Blackpool is in the works.
How on earth have you found that out?
HSTs, on top of the ROG 37 and Class 700- DTG is lavishing love on its neighbourhood route.
Honestly not sure I just notice that its normally a good indication of imminent release
Usually about 2 weeks or so
I would guess a preview stream next week and the release on 6th of April, based on the fact DTG said the releases in March roadmap would happen before the next roadmap.
I am super worried they‘ll mess the 158 up and then won’t fix the issues. Really hoping I’m wrong.
Im quite anxious about this too, it’s a shame really considering the cost of DLC & amount of hyped up spiel they’ll blast at us when the reveals come along.
Everything Skyhook have done so far has been quite poor & abandoned, I really hope DTG have a backbone when it comes to making sure they release something good for once, and don’t leave us with another botched sprinter.
Would be a shame to leave the 222 out. Got a feeling it’s going to be another empty route. Hope I’m wrong
On looking at a working timetable from 2016 (when I was making scenarios for the TSC route) it seems the vast majority of HST services went only to Nottingham, the majority of the Sheffield services had class 222 down as a timing load.
I just cannot get into the mindset of anyone who does something and then takes a step back and says to themselves .. ‘ yes that’s very poor workmanship, nowhere near as good as it should be…. Anyhow - onto the next money making scheme ‘.
I will be absolutely furious if both my favourite 2nd Gen DMUs are totally ruined in this game. The 150/2 was an absolute appalling mess beyond belief, if my other favourite dmu goes the same way I will just take up golf. Haha.
For years it was the opposite way round, The 222 was on the Nottingham and Derby services (plus anything else)and the HST was on Sheffield and Nottingham expresses. East Midlands Trains wanted two trains an hour to Sheffield and one of the provisions was that it had to go over to 222s, so they went onto Sheffield's and the HSTs were confined to Nottinghams and the twice daily Leeds services from 2008. I'd love to see the 222s brought to MML as well.
Hopefully we'll see a southern MML section with the 222 which can then layer in the HST.
I'd love to see a Leicester-Bedford section as that is very hilly and curvy and is an interesting ride.
It would've been nice if the Leicester-Syston-Sileby-Barrow-Loughborough (Ivanhoe line) service could be incorporated.
Lost track of which train operator would've been running that at the time.
It was East Midlands Trains and a 158 is still used on it frequently. I imagine it will be on it.
And lets look at Skyhooks offerings so far, Cane Creek great scenery, alot of bugs, Loco sound is terrible.
Horseshoe Curve again great scenery, less bugs this time, Loco sound is terrible.
DB BR187. Beautiful model, but severly bugged, fixes came in and took forever to come but still are bugs, and the sound is horrible.
So I'd be expecting a great scenic route, with nicely done loco models, a few small bugs and terrible loco sound.
I lived next to the line in Sheffield back then and 222's were by far more common than both the HST and 158's. HSTs seemed to appear more in the evening with 158's sporadic throughout the day.
I do hope we get a 222 at some point though, and the extension to Sheffield to go with it. That might be a good job for JT.
Yep, i would love a 222 on TSW
Just to roll the pitch a little for this one (if it is indeed the case), this was JD's response today on Discord to asking about the MML release date. I'd personally read between the lines and say that it's been delayed a little.
Thought it would make a nice added journey using the 158 as though all those stops are on the same route albeit on a slow line.
Should also be able to implement some freight (class 66) as that's quite popular in the area.
Also got to realize mml is their very first passenger route in tsw so they had to learn a lot of new things. Freight is different from passenger.
I still wouldn't be surprised to see it released next Thursday if recent history is anything to go by.
I have no problem with it being delayed if they need to do that to get it right before release though.
Keep an eye on the announcements tomorrow for the guide to next week’s streamings, as this may give you a good idea of the eventual release date. Imminent in my opinion for a pre Easter release.
Yep! DTG have still got 7 days before the new tax year kicks in?
my guess is they’ll post an article tuesday and it’ll be available thursday, tho i could be wrong. I reckon even if isn’t fully finished they’ll still put it out regardless so it’s before the 31st
A fortnight today, 6th April is the start of the tax year.
There's no reason why they wouldn't. The stations between Leicester and Loughborough aren't served by express services.
Seeing as the 158 will be included with this route, I’m 99% sure Ivanhoe services will be included with this DLC.
message for Londonmidland will u be doing a Enhancement pack for this route as u and your crew are gods at the UK TSW Mods
Okay for one us PC players will get a Sound Mod that will make it so much better and yes Bugs are always there because of the rush job each route gets expt for the new Nitddertalbahn witch was in fact taking time to build
It would be quite baffling if the Leicester to Nottingham 158 service isn't included lol
Yes, I will be doing an Enhancement Pack mod for this route.
You never know.....it might not need one
Ha, fat chance.
Guessing with the lack of a preview stream next week MML is almost certainly delayed.
Certainly looks that way.
Better delayed than rushed out with issues though. Disappointing, but I can wait a bit longer.
My money is still on next Thursday (30th) for release.
Preview date might still be up in the air, the schedule is pretty empty & Skyhook have always been poor when it came to actually doing previews.
My guess would be the first week of April for a release.
From what is scheduled for a live stream, seems like HST livery designer is imminent unless they're randomly going to do a live stream for a class 47 whilst everyone is on tenterhooks for the 43, that'd go down well! And HST livery designer compatibility is at least something in the meantime whilst MML is still in the oven.
You might be right, but I'm not sure they would release it immediately before Easter. The following week may be more likely.
