Introduction: Introducing the mildmay line to train sim world! This busy line runs through the suburbs of London, and connects places such as Clapham junction, Richmond, Willesden junction, Gospel oak and Stratford with a frequent rail service. The route: The route itself includes what was once the north, and West London lines, coming to a total of 28 miles, with also 28 stations. Over eight trains an hour operate in each direction along the main section of our route, which gives plenty of services and AI to see. Base route: Class 378 "capitalstar" The class 378 is a 5 car electric multiple unit which operates on the London overground line. These units have a top speed of 75mph, and are the primary Rolling stock on the mildmay line. These units are very similar to the electrostars already in game, with certain assets being suitable for reuse. Layers: WCML: South, Suffragette line, BML (AI), Bakerloo (if possible) Layers: Class 710 The class 710 could be modified into the 5 car 710/3 variant for operation on this route. This would also operate on WCML instead of the 4 car. The 4 car variant would also appear as AI at Gospel oak. Class 377/387 AI at Clapham jn Class 66 The class 66 would operate freight services on our route Overall: The mildmay line brings some extra life to the growing London overground network. With the Suffragette line already in-game, and the Lioness line being featured as a part of WCML south. The class 378 would also bring some extra life to other london based routes already in game. There is also plenty of opportunity for route hopping as well, such as for GOBLIN, WCML south, and BML just to name a few.
If you could get the liveries made, then you could also have the 450 (and 444). Depending on era, maybe even a 707.
It's not unreasonable considering this has just been announced. Besides, bdlhouston#8691 is not new to these forums or a troll. Anyway, back on topic. I'm not sure I'll buy this route tbh. Not that interested in overground lines. If it provides good layers I might get it in a sale though. Who knows.
