I don't know how many users here monitor developer websites, but i keep an eye on a few. One that i checked out a while ago was the milepost simulations website. Which if you have checked out there product page there is a screen shot of one of the WIP routes.

I am very excited to finally see any milwaukee road content, LET ALONE the electrified western extension. Now as a fan of the road i have done a lot of research of their western electrified lines. Now the page in question that Milepost shares this on (http://milepostsimulations.com/products.html) shares no information of what section he is creating. However the screen shot is of a section of track known as "Vendome Loop" which is on the east side of Pipestone Pass. The track goes into Butte Mt on the west side, and I'm fairly sure this will be one end of the route. The theory part of this post is down to the question of where the other end may be? My best guess is Three Forks, this would be a route with a decent amount of track miles and some great scenery as it crosses the continental divide. With 2 or 3 high trestles and plenty of steep windy track. But if Milepost is planning on a longer route then i would expect it to include Lombard, a well photographed spot where the MLWK crosses over the Missouri river and BNSF track, and end with Harlowton Mt. I feel thats unlikely though as that would be a massive route and larger than the average route for TSC. I do hope that after the release of this route Milepost will produce other sections of the western extension, Such as Missoula to Avery, or one of the scenic Washington sections such as from Easton to maple valley. Now i am also very excited to see multi unit box cab electric locomotives (look to be EF-2 "bobtail" units) and hopefully the "Little Joe" EF-4 as well. In case you are wondering why i have not mentioned the EP-2 (Bi-Polar), it is because while i like the way that locomotive looks i don't like passenger operations. Regardless of what electric locomotives are included i know i will certainly be creating some diesel repaints for the U25B and sd40-2 to simulate the later years. I hope many others here are as excited as me to see the good ole disheveled ,broke uncle , of the UP and BN the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad.

We've been talking about this route for months over here: https://forums.dovetailgames.com/th...an-3rd-party-news-non-dramatic-version.72439/

Also the route length has already been revealed.

You are WAY WAY behind in talking about this route....

They had the Olympian Hi which ran across it, but Milwaukee's cars were all very unique to them, especially the Creek and Rapids Skytops.
