    Hi all,

Very impressed with TSW4 on ps5, especially loving the use of the controller for signals, sounds and vibration. Well Done

I do however have 1 suggestion. I am partially sighted and I find some of the text in the minimal hud a little hard to see. (I’m sure I’m not the only one)

Would adding an accessibility option to increase the font size a little be an option? Maybe a different option for instructions, speed track thing on the right side…. Also the distance above the floating objective marker. That’s impossible to see.

    Thanks IMG_0902.jpeg

I too would like to see at least the signal colour dots in the track monitor a bit bigger as they are hard to see when playing on a PlayStation where you are sitting a distance from the TV.

Another idea, would be to make the minimal hud modular so we could move parts if it to different areas of the screen. I would move the train monitor a bit lower on the right side so I could see it better.

would be nice to hear someone at DTG thoughts

I'm really having a problem with the text size. I can' read the speed limits. When I see speed limits like 60 or 80 I have to guess because it hardly can tell them apart?
I have Action Points turned off but looking at the image of the OP I even wonder why the distance bar is so small when the AP bar can take up so much space?

DTG sure needs to add a HUD scale user preference. Whilst I understand the points of view raised in this thread, I would actually like to see elements of the HUD go the opposing way and reduce them.

As a PC user, what concerns me when I read topics like this is that DTG will increase the size so their entire audience is inflicted with it. This occurred with the normal speedometer HUD when console users complained. My interpretation for the purpose of the minimal HUD is that it's to be as unintrusive as possible so I will be really disappointed to experience it increase in size.

I hope DTG are able to provide a solution that caters for both points of view.

Yes I can see your concern Bigger sizes should not be implemented as a one size fits all. Consoles are really different because you sit further from the screen and me not being able to read the speed limits does not mean the text size is too small for everyone. It's not that I have exceptionally good eyes .

But at the moment it is a one size fits all

I agree, I would quite like it to be about half the size it currently is, but I am on PC. An ability to scale the HUD up or down according to personal preference would be great if it’s possible. Not just minimal either, but all the HUD types.

I think an option to scale both up and dow by percentages would work for all, maybe not 1 scaler for the entire hud but separate ones for say line monitor another for line monitor speed limits, another for instructions etc…

The thing is they broke their own design guideline by using Light/ExtraLight instead of Regular/Bold typefaces, that makes it hard to read.

The minimal hud should also be floating so you van move it to the bottom.
