This asset, used on the Cresston route from DPSimulation, alongside its 'rh' variant, are missing and I'd appreciate some help. The requirements for the route are WCML North, the Station Asset Pack (AP01) and the European Loco And Asset. Other assets are included in the download. My friend suggested the apostrophe in the asset names are a sign of a corrupt file, but I'm not sure what to make of that. For context, the route does work on my past computers but not my current one. I have tried reinstalling WCML North and the Cresston assets but no luck.
I can help you there. This asset is provided with the Cresston .rwp. Assets\Mundo\Scenery\FootbridgeS'nessSteps90LH.xml The problem is it has not been converted to .bin format which the game needs. There's more files in this asset pack that haven't been compiled. There's also GeoPcDx files missing. If you download the "South West Branch Line" you'll get these assets. (in the AdditionalAssets folder). Cheers!
Yes, but you need to install the Footbridge Kit.rwp too, as it's nested in the SWBv1.zip's "Additional Assets\Mundo" subfolder. This will fix your issue.
I've revealed all information necessary, so I consider this solved. Just install the Footbridge Kit.rwp found in the SWBv1 download. While you're at it, install the Point Motor Pack.rwp too. trev123 Many freeware routes fill up the Assets\Mundo folder. He has been a freeware asset creator since RailWorks days, and his creations are widely used for 3rd party routes.
I found the Additional Assets folder and put in everything in, and it did work. I guess I'd better look harder next time (plus, it's been years since I installed it last). Thanks for the help.
