I have used this sim for too many years to remember, built up a large selection of routes and hundereds of scenarios. Just spent 30 mins being told assets missing from various scenarios. My question is, is there a way to check the you have the assets needed for a scenario quicker than waiting 3 to 5 mins for it to load?

Before buying any addons scroll down and expand the readme and make sure if there are any additional requirements that you have those already. Same can be said with some routes make sure that there is not any additional addons you may not have.

I myself got caught not checking to see if there were any additional requirements once already and once was enough for me.

There is RW Tools, now TS Tools which can create a Stock List of each of the trains you own.
It can be downloaded in to Excel and then you can sort it to tell you what you own.

Also TS Tools will create a list of all the routes and Scenarios you have - both Payware and Freeware

Peter I have RW Tools but thought it had stopped being updated and was not compatible with TS20. Do you know what the last version was, and i will give it a try.

It was updated, and then changed it's name to TS Tools

If you have any old RW tools version uninstall it then download the full version

You can use either RW Tools or TS Tools - the latter one should get further updates as Mike re-wrote it.

Interestingly I tried swapping some locos the other day and It did not spot the loco as I had not extracted it.
Mike was saying on UKTS it would be something he needed to check

When you go to Route Building Tools you need to click on "Index Route Properties"
That only takes a min and it creates a list in the third tab - "List of Route Names and Folder"
