This is a quick suggestion to add flange sounds to train that are missing them. It would be a small change but it adds so much immersion to a run The trains that lack these sounds are Class 377 (LBN) Class 387 Class 375 Class 385 Class 166 Class 43 That's the ones i know that are missing them, though there could be more. To finish off the thread here's an example of flange on a class 142.
Pacers are something else! It would be fab to get those in game, with accurate flange squeal and bouncing dynamics!
Compared to the 385 the sounds are there but not set up. The modders of the 377/387 could make them work. However on the 385 its missing entirely, which is a new low because not even a modder can take action here. Sometimes i really ask my self whats going on. Did the sound engineers aleady leave or do they actually have no clue what different sounds occur on a train? Overall the sound experience took many steps backwards in my opinion. The br diesels of tsw1 have a brilliant audio. And now in tsw3 we have to remind devs that there are flange sounds..., pretty damn sloppy to name it directly.
