I have just downloaded Trainsim Classic again after having updated my computer with one that actually runs Train Sim properly. However I see that the hudderfield line is now included but it doesn't get installed for me. Anyone know if I can get this line without buying the whole thing again, is there an upgrade option?
Check if it's activated in Steam game properties DLC manager. Also check if these are active, you'll need them (Pacer, Class 158 and 47) Note that it will only be there if you have purchased the route, or a bundle that contains it. You'll not get it automatically if you purchased TS2021 for example.
You had to pay for the yearly routes release which included Huddersfield Line. Only the core of the game was updated for free. Did you have a previous version of TSC installed?
Hi Spikee it does not apper in my list because I purchased an older version. Hi Nick, yes I do have a previous version, where is the option to purchase the yearly routes update? Thanks Terry
This is the link to the steam store page. As you already own TSC, it may not let you purchase one of the bundles offered but may offer you a discount to complete your collection. I bought Huddersfield Line as a stand alone route so didn't pick up the other 2 routes included with the TSC yearly update.
Thanks for the info. Hmm thats really annoying, the Huddersfield route is £25 when the complete package including the other routes is £20. Looks like I am being penalised for buying an earlier version.
You can try buying one of the bundles. I think I've bought a bundle before that contained something I already had and it discounted the price and told me I wouldn't get a second version of that DLC.
You are not being penalised because you bought a bundle from a year that does not include the Huddersfield route. At the time you got three routes which are now dearer than the time you bought them as each year the bundle changes. There will be a Sale on for Halloween and again at the end of October - it will probably be on sale then.
I think you can buy the bundle again. When I go into steam I get the option to buy the 'Train Sim Classic' for 24,99€ despite that I own everything (three routes and the 142).
