Now in tonights stream, the new UI was shown off for the first time in TSW3 and while I do like the initial first impressions of it, I do have one major concern regarding it and something I want to mainly ask DTG about and that is regarding the route selection page. When I look at this page, particular the information box on the right, it is missing some particularly key information about the route in question. It does state the number of collectibles and how many have been found, but whats missing is the number of tutorials that may be exclusive to that route (I know that most of them will be on training center now, but there might a few tutorials exclusive to the route, who knows?), the number of scenarios on that route and the most important one of them all, the number of services that route has. When compared to the old one we have now in TSW2, it does show for each route all of those key details that I have just brought up in several places. Trust me, I have gone back through that gameplay demo and I couldn't see any of these pieces of information shown anywhere at any point in that demo. Even when selecting a loco to take out on a particular route in timetable mode, it doesn't even show how many services it has on that particular route. Maybe it's the case that these pieces of information will be later on or maybe it's been hidden on purpose until closer to release, who knows? but I do want to ask the team at DTG, are these important pieces of information displayed anywhere in the new UI and if not, why do they not showup? Because I feel like it is disappointing to go into the new game and not have these important pieces of information shown anywhere within the new UI, especially with the number of services the route has as that is one of the biggest selling points of a route in my eyes.
