These routes are still in the state they were released - at this time the RailWorks menu was text-only. You can easily create your own images. Make a screenshot, scale it down to 512x288 (best for 4K) or 256x144 (looks best on HD) and save it as "image.png" (non-interlaced). Put this into the "RouteInformation" subfolder of the route's folder. Again, take a screenhot, scale it down to 256x144 with your preferred image processor (I'm using paint.net) and save it as image.png. It won't be blurred. If you want it to appear as sharp as Mitten durch Berlin, save it as 512x288.
Yes and you already have the original images from the developers, but you need to convert them. The Berlin-Wittenberg route was sold in the Train Simulator 2013 Retail edition by Aerosoft. The Hamburg-Hanover and London-Faversham routes were sold in the Train Simulator 2014 edition on Steam. In Train Simulator 2013 and 2014 the images of the routes already appeared, they were loaded differently, from Train Simulator 2015 it is the method used until today. Just right click on the images in wellingtons post and save them. Don't forget to rename them 'image.png'.
Where would these images be hidden? It's not the (unused, replaced by Screenshot Contest & ads .swf) Route loading TgPcDx files, e.g. HH has a black text only image, Faversham a real photo. Are you sure these images are "official"?
