Downloaded this add on to the PC: Thank you for download this pack. This pack includes several repaints of the MP36PH-3C locomotive in four versions of the METRA MP36PH-3S. Specifically the following: # 402 wears the State of Illinois scheme. # 405 wears a Milwaukee Road "tribute" scheme. # 415 wears Metra standard colors. # 425 wears Rock Island "tribute" colors. Also there are some preloaded consists of these engines within the MP36PH-3S group. Requirements: You need payware DTG's 'Peninsula Corridor: San Francisco ñ San Jose Route Add-On' installed. THEN tried to Install This (Read Me file): Install: 1) Unzipp downloaded file and copy Asset folder into Railworks main folder. 2) Copy 'MP36PH.GeoPcDx' file from Assets\DTG\CalTrain\RailVehicles\Diesel\Engine, and paste it in new Engine subfolders: METRA_402, METRA_405, METRA_415 and METRA_425. But once we got to the Engine folder.. the MP36PH.GeoPcDx file is missing so we cannot paste into the Engine folders. HELP!
It should be there. Check again or reinstall the CalTrain DLC. I recommend using 7zip File Manager instead of standard windows explorer. It handles .ap and .rwp files like folders. As it has no drag and drop features it also prevents you from accidentally moving files And then I do not understand why the repaint makers do not edit their .bin files to directly point to the required GeoPcDx files, as you can specify "..\..\" in the path. Would spare everyone this copying procedure.
Thank you for your quick reply! I've downloaded unzipped with the 7z File Manager (see image). I get to CalTrain and I don't see the CalTrainAssets.ap you have on your file path.
Yes. Then copy the GeoPcDx and paste it into the four repaint folders. You can open a second folder view in 7zip, makes it a bit easier. That's how I do it.
This is awesome! Thank you! Ok so i got the folders to look like that first one image you sent. Now, where do I put the MP3H.GeoPcDX? I don't see the folders in the 2nd image that you sent.
Have you copied the "Assets" folder supplied in the download to your "RailWorks" folder as mentioned in the readme? Then you'll have four new repaint folders: Railworks\Assets\DTG\CalTrain\RailVehicles\Diesel\METRA_402 Railworks\Assets\DTG\CalTrain\RailVehicles\Diesel\METRA_405 Railworks\Assets\DTG\CalTrain\RailVehicles\Diesel\METRA_415 Railworks\Assets\DTG\CalTrain\RailVehicles\Diesel\METRA_425 Copy the GeoPcDx in each of these folders, create a Freeroam scenario and enjoy!
I did everything that the instructions said. For some reason, in the build feature, when I spawn them, they don't spawn. is there any way you guys can help?
