Was this a 3rd party download or from Steam? Please specify which route you are having problems with. This suggests that you are missing some assets. Was it workshop?
If you’re using a laptop make sure you are not using the built in graphics card. Ensure you are using the dedicated / purpose built graphics card.
l have had this for months. Contacted DTG l, then followed their instructions but it’s still there. If you look carefully it is just a screenshot, nothing wrong with the game as far as l can see, so don’t worry. It will possibly disappear with the next major update, if there is one! Never happened before but my laptop NVidia card is possibly unsuitable although the graphics look ok, so l am happy.
These instructions l followed on Windows 11 but I ran into problems. Why is there a Missing Texture on the Loading Screen? This issue releates to the background image being replaced with another image that says "Missing Texture. You will see this if you are attempting to start the game using integrated graphics, which is typically a problem only laptops experience. To resolve the problem, your laptop must have a dedicated graphics card with at least 1 GB of VRAM. Then, your laptop needs to configured so the dedicated graphics card is detected as the primary graphics device. To do this, please follow the instrucitons below to set your preferences from within Windows and the Nvidia Control Panel. Set the Windows graphics preferences for the app. Go to Settings > System > Display from within Windows. Under the Related settings section, click on Graphics. Browse for the game executable or add it as a desktop app. Under GPU preference, select your dedicated graphics card, which will be labled as High Performance. Set the preferred graphics processor in the Nvidia Control Panel Right-click on the desktop and select NVIDIA Control Panel Then click Manage 3D Settings(on the left-hand side). From the drop-down menu; Select the preferred graphics processor and choose your Nvidia processor. Once you have selected your preference, click Apply. Under Settings, Systems, Display, Graphics, I am unable to find in Windows 11 Related Settings section or the game executable!!! I have my Railworks.exe set to my NVIDIA graphics card but am unable to do it in the manage 3D settings as l get the following error message. “Access denied. Failed to apply selected settings to your system OK” It just defaults back to auto select. I have my graphics card set under set PhysX configuration and have adjusted the image settings with preview to used the advanced 3D settings. Does any technology guy, point me in the right direction please?
I'm on Windows 11, but I do have a different language so this is a translation. Right click on desktop-> Display Settings->Graphics -> Related settings-> Graphics. From here search for RailWorks. If you don't find it that way you can also search for Graphics Settings I also had that Nvidia access denied problem, but it works now. Try run as admin?

That’s my problem l followed your steps to Graphics and cannot find “Related settings” Also searched in Graphics settings with the same results. Also searching for related settings takes me to Themes which is unrelated as it shows wallpapers!! l just cannot find the related settings anywhere.
